Photographer at La Fortuna Waterfall

A 70-metre waterfall at the bottom of some 500 steps inside a rainforest canyon. It is a demanding and spectacular location: few photos in La Fortuna are as powerful as those from the viewpoint and the pool.

Best light

Light reaches the canyon between mid-morning and noon; earlier the background stays very dark.

Logistics & access

Managed by ADIFORT with a per-person entrance fee. Going down and back takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on the group's pace.
